CUMBERLAND — John Depestre scored unassisted and Brian Jeffries booted in a second-half penalty kick as the Allegany College of Maryland Trojans defeated Harford Saturday at ACM.

Depestre’s goal came unassisted at the 41:00 mark of the first half. Jeffries penalty kick was at the 61:03 mark of the second half.

Harford outshot Allegany 10-7 and had one more corner kick, 5-4. Harford won last year’s game, 3-0.

Sebastian Lyons made six saves and Sherod Britton had one of the Trojans. K.C. McGinty had four stops for Harford.

Allegany, 1-1 overall and JUCO, is 7-2-2 at home over the last two years hosts No. 11 ranked Rockville Tuesday at 4 p.m.
