Abraham bank’s office manager

FROSTBURG — Leigh Abraham has been promoted to Frostburg community office manager of First United Bank & Trust.

Abraham is a continuing student at Allegany College of Maryland. He has also attended various courses with American Bankers Association and the Center for Financial Training.

He resides in Barton with his wife, Nadezda. They have one child, Alina and are expecting their second child in October.

Firm finances townhouse site

CUMBERLAND — SunTrust Mortgage Inc. has provided construction financing for Cornerstone Hill, a planned townhouse community on McKaig’s Hill.

The development will have 57 townhouses and a clubhouse building with a fitness center, outdoor swimming pool and playground.

Doug McAlpine of SunTrust Bank completed the construction loan for Miguel Zavaleta of Cornerstone Enterprises, LLC, a limited liability company.

This project was first introduced one year ago on the former Naval Reserve ballfield on McKaig Hill along James Day Drive near Weber Street.

Miller joins Benchmark office

CUMBERLAND— Kerry Miller, certified prosthetist, pedorthist and mastectomy fitter, has joined the Benchmark Orthotics & Prosthetics office at 26 Greene St.

Miller, who has fabricated and fit orthoses and prostheses since 1999, works with patients of all ages (geriatric through pediatric), and also has experience fitting computerized prostheses.

“I treat each patient with the quality of care that you would want a family member or close friend to be treated with,” Miller said. Her professional experience includes prosthetic relief work in Sudan, Africa, in 2006. For an appointment, call (301) 759-4944.

Imperio gets bank position

MOOREFIELD, W.Va. — Michael A. Imperio has been named Moorefield community office manager for First United Bank & Trust.

A certified financial planner with 33 years of banking experience, he has attended numerous banking classes.

Imperio lives in Burlington, with his wife, Barbara. They have two children, Ryan and Daniel. He is a member of the Knobley Church of the Brethren and enjoys visiting Civil War battlefields in his spare time.
