I'm so glad I opted to stay here in Western Maryland this past year and a half. I could have gone to NIH or Hopkins, wherever. But fortunately, I elected to stay home. I can never thank all of the doctors, nurses, aides, druggists, other patients, everybody I met in both chemotherapy and radiation, plus some regular hospital stays. They have kept me going to a really good diagnosis - namely, NO MORE CANCER!
I do have a special thanks to Pat Merrbach of the Frostburg Library, and all of the Allegany County librarians for helping me to keep my sanity by sending paperback books for me to read. I can't hold a hardback book and read in bed! And all of the prayer chains, some of them people I don't even know. No way would you find this kind of TLC except in our mountains. I'm so glad I'm fourth generation to live here. Now, if I could just find a remedy for old age! Sincere thanks!
