Let’s Beautify Cumberland volunteers Angie Garcia, left, and Kyle Hopkins, both from Frostburg, work on planting a variety of flowers and pulling weeds along Fayette Street in Cumberland. The volunteers are planting flowers in a holding area so later they can be transplanted throughout the city.

Wanda Raley of Cumberland tends to her flower gardens at her home on Frederick Street. Raley said she enjoys gardening because she enjoys looking at flowers while tending to them.
