City’s ‘housing plate is full,’ but mayor hopes to keep momentum moving forward

Allegany Station on Decatur Street, built on the former site of Sacred Heart Hospital, was originally proposed to include 33 townhouses in three rows of 11. To date, the first row of 11 has been constructed. Alleged problems, both legally and financially, with the developer’s initial partner have put the project on hold.
