Carol Cauley speaks during the Allegany County Commission meeting Thursday at Allegany High School. County residents packed the meeting, most in opposition of the commissioners' recent actions involving the elimination of the sheriff's office road patrol and the expansion of the county Bureau of Police to include that patrol. More than 50 people addressed the commissioners at the meeting, which was moved from the county office complex because of the anticipated large crowd.
