Britannia Vodrasek, left, from Everett, Pa., and Andrea Frantz from Frostburg cut out letters of their names for a collage Saturday afternoon during the creative paper techniques workshop at Arts at Canal Place. Adults and youth participated in the workshop where paper embelishments for scrapbooking were created, including cutting, scorning, weaving, dry and wet embossing, piercing, origami, punching and more with instructor Linda Stewart. The workshop is one of serveral art workshops offered this summer at the art gallery in the shops at the Canal Place Heritage Area in Cumberland.
