Area residents took advantage of the cold weather the area is experiencing by ice skating at Canal Place on Sunday. Some of the skaters used to skate at the Riverside YMCA. Last year the Canal Place Preservation & Development Authority resurrected the tradition of ice skating on the C&O Canal.
