Accident sends two to hospital

MCCOOLE — Two people were taken to the Western Maryland Health System’s Memorial Campus following a single-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon on Westernport Road near the NewPage warehouse, according to the Allegany County Office of Emergency Service.

The emergency center dispatched the McCoole Fire Department, McCoole ambulance and Tri-Towns EMS.

The Allegany County Bureau of Police also responded and were still investigating Sunday.
