OAKLAND — A New Jersey man was injured Thursday when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a tree along Glendale Road, Maryland State Police said.
Michael Pagan, 45, of Morris Plains, was taken to Garrett Memorial Hospital by Northern Rescue Squad following the 5 p.m. mishap that occurred west of state Route 495. No information was available concerning Pagan’s injuries or medical condition.
Police said Pagan was operating a 2002 Yamaha FZ1 westbound when he lost control of the motorcycle, left the roadway and struck a tree. Upon impact, Pagan was ejected.
Pagan was cited for negligent driving and traveling at a speed greater than reasonable.
