CUMBERLAND — Wanda Louise (Lease) Barton, 87, of Cumberland, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at the Devlin Manor Nursing Home.

Born March 1, 1922, in Cresaptown, she was the daughter of the late Mason Burr Lease and Alberta Ruth (Kelly) Lease. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Jess Hochard; her second husband, Raymond Lawrence Barton; one son, Gary Thomas Morris; one sister, June Clay; one brother, Edward Lease.

Surviving are her daughters, Karen Lynn Kirk and husband Larry, Conowingo, Kelly Louise Ridgeway and husband Michael, Cresaptown; three brothers, Lester Lease, Baltimore, Calvin Lease, Ridgeley, W.Va., Wade Lease, Corriganville; five grandchildren, Brownwyn Davis, Cumberland, Christine L. Boswell, Bridget Kelly, Rising Sun, Corey Kirk, Elkton, Nathan Kirk, Rising Sun; one stepgrandson, Brian Kirk, Springfield, W.Va.; 13 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, (www.scarpellifuneralhomes.com) on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Wayne Turner officiating.

Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.
