CUMBERLAND — Joe and Dottie (Payton) DiNicola Sr. recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
The couple enjoyed an open house at their residence on June 23, 2012, hosted by their children, Joe and wife Keri, Dwayne and wife Tracy, Todd and wife Becky, and Tody and wife Tammy, along with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Many family and friends, locally and from out of town, came to celebrate and extend their congratulations. The afternoon was full of laughter and good times remembered by everyone in attendance.
The DiNicolas were married on June 24, 1962, at Melvin Methodist Church in Cumberland by the Rev. Frank Warnick.
Joe is a 1960 graduate of Fort Hill High School and Dottie graduated from Fort ill in 1962. They were high school sweethearts.
Joe and Dottie were the former owners of JC DiNicola & Sons in Frostburg. Joe was then called into the ministry full time, where he served as pastor at Oldtown Baptist Fellowship until his “retirement” in 2008. He now continues to serve the Lord at Graceland Baptist Church in Short Gap, W.Va.
The entire DiNicola family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks, love and appreciation to all those who came to share in this memorable occasion.
