FORT ASHBY, W.Va. — Harold and Norma Hershberger of Fort Ashby celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their children, grandchildren and plenty of food and laughter in a Timberline cabin near Canaan Valley last weekend.
Harold and Norma were high school sweethearts at Fort Ashby High School. The couple were married at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Fort Ashby on Dec. 2, 1961.
Harold and Norma are the parents of two grateful children, Jodi, married to Chris Bettencourt, and Andy, married to Misty. They also have five granddaughters, Kayla, Shelby, Casey, Hannah and Hailey.
Harold is the son of the late Lantz and Blanche Hershberger of Patterson Creek and Norma is the daughter of the late James and Willa Allen of Fort Ashby.
Harold and Norma would like to thank their extended family and friends for all their well wishes and great memory cards.
