WOOSTER, Ohio — Russ and Lora Shearing, Wooster, formerly of Cumberland, recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Sept. 9, 1947.
Russ worked for Goodyear in adminstration. During his 44 years with the company, Russ served in various locations. The majority of those years, until his retirement, were in Cumberland.
Russ and Lora are the parents of two children, Stephen and Linda, both deceased.
The couple enjoyed a quiet celebration at their home in Wooster, including a surprise visit from Vicki and Paul Green of Cumberland.
