CRESAPTOWN — Janet (Armstrong) and Douglas “Mac” Marker of Cresaptown recently celebrated their golden anniversary with their children and grandchildren. The couple was treated to a dinner at Dutch’s of Deep Creek Lake, along with an intimate reception hosted by their children, Bryan Marker and wife MaryJane; Brenda Ultis and husband William; and Brad Marker and wife Michelle.
The evening began with a champagne toast given by granddaughter Whitney Marker. A replica cake was provided by Mariah Sarver of M&S Desserts.
The couple then treated guests to their first dance, “May I Have This Dance” by Anne Murray.
Mac and Janet will continue making memories with their upcoming vacation to Turks and Caicos.
