Edward W. Taylor Sr. and Christina A. (Malamphy) Taylor celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 3, 2011. The couple was married at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Baltimore, June 3, 1961.
Mr. and Mrs. Taylor are the parents of three children, Edward W. Taylor Jr., Cumberland; Theresa A. Holt and husband,Tony, Christiansburg, Va,; and Michael J. Taylor and wife, Jessica, Bellington, Vt. The Taylors also have four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Mr. Taylor is semi-retired from his private business.
The Taylors have been faithful servants to the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Roman Catholic Church. They have upheld the sacrament of matrimony throughout their marriage.
The Taylors are members of St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Ridgeley, W.Va., and are charter members of the Cumberland Historic Cemetery Organization. Mr. Taylor is a descendant of American Revolutionary War Patriot Daniel Taylor.
The couple reside in LaVale.
