Mia, a 7-month-old tri-colored spayed female shepherd/collie, is current on vaccinations and microchipped. Mia a little shy at first and would do best in a quiet environment, according to officials at the Allegany County Animal Shelter. The shelter is located at 716 Furnace St., Cumberland. Adoption hours are weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
